Belleek Panel Vase. This Belleek Panel Vase is part of Belleek's 150th Anniversary Archive Collection. It measures 5.5" (14cm) high. It is numbered and dated with the special 150th Anniversary mark.
Over the past one hundred and fifty years many pieces have evolved from their original shape and decoration. The Panel Vase is a prime example of this evolution, beginning in the 1890s as a vase with painted floral decoration, later as a crested piece in the early part of the 20th Century and eventually as a Shamrock Vase in the mid 1920s. It remained quite popular until its retirement in the 1980s.
