Belleek Typha Jug Spill. This beautiful piece is part of Belleek's 150th Anniversary Archive Collection. It measures 7.5" (19cm) high and each piece is numbered and stamped with the special 150th Anniversary mark.
Typha is a type of meadow grass and this vase was originally decorated with Typha grass in relief pattern. In the early part of the 20th Century this was changed to a spray of shamrocks. The vase remained popular for many years but was discontinued in the 1980s.
